Match Day 2026: Celebrating Future Residents Matching with UW

On Friday, March 20, 2026, fourth-year medical students nationwide eagerly took part in Match Day to discover where they will complete their residency training. The UW Department of Radiology will welcome thirteen of matches in July 2027 and they shared why they chose UW. In addition, Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program Director Allison Grayev, MD spoke at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health annual event.

Aaron Eifler, MD and Sean Golden, MD are UW Interventional Radiology (IR) physicians who offer prostate artery embolization (PAE), a minimally-invasive treatment option for patients who seek relief from BPH but are unable or hesitant to undergo more invasive, surgical treatments like holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) and Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP).
