Diego Hernando Receives Grant from National Health Institute

Congratulations to Assistant Professor Diego Hernando, PhD for receiving a grant for his proposal “Diffusion MRI of the Body” for $1,039,350 from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The grant will start on 08/15/2021 for a three-year term. Radiology Report: Quantitative Imaging Methods Lab

Assistant Professor Diego Hernando, PhD started the Quantitative Imaging Methods Lab (QIML) when he was recruited as faculty in 2016. QIML aims to transform MRI into a quantitative imaging modality and to develop quantitative imaging biomarkers to improve the detection, staging, and treatment monitoring of various diseases.
