Anna Giarrantana, MD, PhD

Anna O. Giarratana, MD, PhD, earned her master’s degree in biomedical sciences, her PhD in neuroscience, and her MD from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Between completing her PhD and MD, she received a Fulbright fellowship to conduct a postdoctoral research project using fMRI in Zürich, Switzerland. She chose to pursue nuclear medicine and molecular imaging because she loves to see what is happening in the body on a physiological level. She is also interested in the opportunities that modern advances in theranostics provide for developing novel precision medicine.
