Alexander, Kansas.

Why did you choose radiology?  

During medical school, as I explored a wide range of specialties, I was drawn to radiology for its unique integration of anatomy and pathology in clinical decision-making. The field demands a deep, nuanced understanding of the human body and the mechanisms of underlying disease, all of which are reflected through imaging. Additionally, I was struck by the constant professional satisfaction among radiologists I encountered, which further reinforced my interest in pursuing radiology.

What are your professional interests?  

My professional interests center on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Additionally, I am committed to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment – one that supports colleagues and patients alike – recognizing that a strong team culture ultimately enhancing both care delivery and professional fulfillment.

Why did you choose to work at UW–Madison?  

My decision to pursue a position at UW–Madison was strongly influenced by my fellowship experience, during which I found the department to be exceptionally supportive, collaborative, and committed to excellence. I was particularly drawn to the culture of mentorship and the strength of its leadership. Madison itself offers an outstanding quality of life, making it an ideal place to build both a professional career and a personal life.

What are your hobbies?  

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. I also enjoy competitive running and recently completed the Boston Marathon in April 2026 and the Badger 100-mile ultramarathon in August 2026.
