On June 12, 2026, the University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology celebrated graduating residents at the Discovery Building. Colleagues, family members, and friends came together to reminisce with the graduates and recognize all that they accomplished during residency.  

After a social hour, Department Chair Scott Reeder, MD, PhD welcomed attendees before passing the mic to Diagnostic Radiology Program Director Allison Grayev, MD; Chief of Thoracic Imaging Jeffrey Kanne, MD; Senior Vice Chair of Education David Kim, MD; and Senior Chief Resident Anna Sorensen, MD to present awards recognizing exemplary work by trainees, faculty, and staff. 

Following the presentation of awards, each resident was invited to the podium to make remarks and receive their diplomas. Many gave heartfelt thanks to their families, fellow residents, and faculty who supported them during their training. Residents were introduced by Dr. Grayev.
