Nathan Skinner, MD, PhD

Biography

Nathan Skinner, MD, PhD grew up in Paducah, Kentucky. After obtaining his undergraduate degree from Wheaton College, he earned his medical degree and doctorate in biophysics through the Medical Scientist Training Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

He completed his internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee where he received the Robert T. Adlam Outstanding Transitional Year Resident Award. He then attended the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis for his residency and advanced abdominal imaging fellowship.

Dr. Skinner joined the Section of Abdominal Imaging and Intervention as an assistant professor in 2025. His professional interests include education and magnetic resonance imaging.
