Clinical Imaging Physics

The Section of Clinical Imaging Physics supports the department’s clinical mission by providing technical expertise and coordinating physics resources.

Section members partner with modality chiefs to provide well-rounded perspectives in problem solving. For example, they help optimize imaging protocols, troubleshoot image degradation problems, conduct acceptance testing of new equipment, and perform routine quality assurance testing.
