Biography

Dr. Conrad Pun is a clinical associate professor of radiology. After receiving a bachelor degree in Art and Art History, he earned his medical degree at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA. He completed internship and residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. He was board certified in radiology in 2007, and went on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and holds a certificate of additional qualification in vascular and interventional radiology. He joined the radiology faculty at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2008 and serves as the interventional radiology director and vascular laboratory director at Meriter Hospital. He also practices at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, and Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston, WI. Dr. Pun’s clinical interests include hemodialysis and vascular access, uterine artery embolization for minimally invasive treatment of uterine fibroids and post-partum hemorrhage, endovascular treatment of veno-occlusive disease and management of post thrombotic syndrome, and percutaneous spine interventions for treatment of back and neck pain. In addition, he offers most types of peripheral vascular and non-vascular procedures and provides interpretation of non-invasive vascular imaging studies. Dr. Pun was recognized as a Pinnacle Caregiver by the Meriter Foundation for demonstrating the highest level of patient care and compassion. Outside of work, Dr. Pun enjoys spending time with his family, photography, traveling, hiking and camping.
