Thoracic Imaging

The Thoracic Imaging Section of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health forms an integral part of the clinical mission of University Hospital. From the Intensive Care Unit (Trauma and Life Support Center (TLC)) to outpatient pulmonary medicine, this section is part of the clinical care team in helping to appropriately image and assist in treatment decisions for a host of cardiopulmonary diseases. Our Thoracic Imaging radiologists are participating in the forefront of all cardiothoracic imaging modalities. This section is a large contributor to fellow, resident, and medical student education, and research in the Department of Radiology. The Thoracic Imaging Section is fortunate to have many individuals with national reputations. We feel privileged to be able to assist all of our patients and referring physicians with their thoracic imaging needs.
