Thoracic Imaging

The section of Chest radiology forms an integral part of the clinical mission of UW Hospital and Clinics. From the Intensive Care Unit (Trauma and Life Support Center (TLC)) to outpatient pulmonary medicine, this section is part of the clinical care team in helping to appropriately image and assist in treatment decisions for a host of cardiopulmonary diseases. Our Chest radiologists are participating in the forefront of all cardiothoracic imaging modalities. This section is a large contributor to fellow, resident and medical student education, and research in the Department of Radiology. The Chest section is fortunate to have of many individuals with national reputations. We feel privileged to be able to assist all of our patients and referring physicians with their Chest imaging needs.
