High Quality and Sub-mSv Cerebral CT Perfusion Imaging

The PI of this project was:

This project was funded by: Radiology RD

The term of this project was: November 2015 to August 2016

The number of subjects scanned during this project was: 30

The overarching objective of this project is to develop and evaluate new image acquisition, reconstruction, and postprocessing techniques to improve the image quality and reduce radiation dose of cerebral CT perfusion (CTP) imaging. The state-of-the-art research CT scanner at WIMR will be extensively used in this project to acquire CTP images of animal stroke models to validate the proposed new CTP imaging technologies.
