This study will examine the effect of a 12-week diet and exercise behavioral intervention on brain blood flow. Approximately 40 middle-aged and older adults will be enrolled. Participants will receive brain imaging before and after the intervention. We expect to find improved cerebral blood flow after the intervention; this will be measured using arterial spin labeling perfusion MRI, and the pcVIPR 4DFlow technique developed at UW-Madison.
