4D Flow Quantification Validation for Hepatic Embolization

The PI of this project was:

This project was funded by: Radiology

The term of this project was: October 2018 to July 2019

The number of subjects scanned during this project was: 8

The goal of this project is to investigate the feasibility of 4D flow MRI and perfusion to assess hepatic embolization changes before and after treatment. A scan protocol will included a 4D flow (PC VIPR) scan to investigate the macroscopic flow changes in the vessels. The perfusion scans will be used check changes in flow at the tissue level. These values will be cross validated with x-ray and ultrasonic based flow methods.
