Biography

Dr. John McDermott is a professor of Radiology (CHS). He has been an interventional radiologist since 1984. Additionally, he is a Fellow in the Society of Interventional Radiology. His particular academic interests include portal hypertension, hepatic oncology (including yttrium therapy and transarterial chemoembolization) and uterine artery embolization. His outside interests include cycling, world travel and American History.
