The evening prior to your interview, our residents will host a casual dinner, which begins at 6:30 and lasts for two – three hours. If you are traveling with a significant other, they are more than welcome to attend.
On the interview day, please arrive at 7:00 a.m. Bring your parking ticket in with you so we may validate it. Our residents will meet you in the main atrium lobby by the Coffee Corner. We will have a light continental breakfast for you prior to morning conference. Morning conference will begin at 7:30 a.m. After conference, our program directors and chair will welcome you to Madison and UWHC by saying a few words about our program and community. The group will then split; while one half is interviewing with our selection committee, the other half will partake in a tour of the department. At the conclusion, everyone will join for a catered lunch. Following lunch, there will be an optional 30-45 minute bus tour of Madison. The entire day will conclude by 3:00 pm.
