Visiting Domestic Students

Thank you for your interest in our senior electives. US Medical Students must submit an application to the Director of Medical Student Education in order to be eligible to register for a senior elective. In addition, students interested in our research rotation, must identify and gain approval from a faculty mentor from within the Department of Radiology. Clinical Electives are only open to student planning on applying for radiology residency in our department. 
Interested students must submit the following materials:

  • Updated CV
  • Personal Statement describing interest in Radiology
  • Medical School Transcript
  • USMLE Transcripts
  • (Optional) Letter of reference from a faculty member at your home institution.

Visiting International Students

In order to be eligible to apply for a senior elective, international students must first obtain approval from the Director of Medical Student Education and UW School of Medicine and Public Health. If you would like to apply, please fill out the Visiting International Student Inquiry form (coming soon). Once you click the "Submit" button, your information will be sent to the course coordinator who will contact you with further details. If you have additional questions, please contact cpoole@uwhealth.org icon: send email.

Request a Mentor

In addition, students interested in our research rotation, must identify and gain approval from a faculty mentor from within the Department of Radiology.
