Musculoskeletal Imaging Faculty Position

The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine & Public Health is seeking a full time radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in musculoskeletal imaging at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor on the Clinician Teacher, CHS (Clinical Health Sciences) or Tenure Track.

The MSK Section consists of 10 faculty members and 5 fellows. We have a robust ultrasound service with a mix of diagnostic and interventional cases; strong sports medicine imaging serving the University of Wisconsin athletes and the very active greater Dane County area; a level I trauma center; and a bone pathologist and an orthopedic tumor surgeon (with another on the way). We perform all the image-guided biopsies of the spine and extremities at UW and also have a full-service fluoroscopic procedure rotation with an emphasis on spine injections such as epidural injections and including vertebroplasties. The successful candidate will share equally in MSK call responsibilities and teaching and also participate in professional, public and university service appropriate to the faculty rank.

UW Health just opened The American Center, a new specialty hospital and clinic across town that focuses on orthopedics, sports medicine, and spine care, affording us a great new place to work and enjoy MSK radiology.

Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and must be eligible to obtain a Wisconsin Medical License. Fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology required. Wisconsin Caregiver Law applies.
