Dr. Philip Carlson completed Diagnostic Radiology residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in 1989 and has been on staff with the Community Division of University of Wisconsin Radiology at Meriter Hospital since 1999. He is board-certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Internal Medicine. Currently his scope of practice is general diagnostic imaging, nuclear cardiology, and vertebroplasty spine procedures.
Dr. Carlson’s practice also includes interest in health effects of radiation and energy generation, having lectured for the American Nuclear Society and participated in the 2003 conference “The Future of Nuclear Energy in Wisconsin” presented by the Engineering Physics Department of the University of Wisconsin.
Outside interests include bicycling, hiking, swimming, golf, music, photography and amateur radio.
