Dr. Ozkan joins UW as the Andrew B. Crummy Professor of Radiology and Chief of the section of Interventional Radiology. Dr. Ozkan graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine (external link) in Ankara, Turkey. He completed his Radiology residency training at the same institution. He later did Interventional Radiology and Body Imaging fellowships at University of Texas Medical Branch. He worked as the section chief and program director for interventional radiology at UTMB.
Dr. Ozkan has authored more than 30 papers in the field of interventional radiology. His primary interests include portal hypertension, biliary interventions and interventional oncology.
Personal interests: photography, soccer, table tennis.
