Dr. Peter Selzer is a Clinical Professor of Radiology. He is fellowship-trained in interventional radiology and has been practicing at Meriter Hospital since 1986 as a general and interventional radiologist. In January 2009, he stepped down from his leadership role as chairman of the community division of UWMF radiology, and prior to that, president of Radiology Associates of Madison. He was instrumental in the negotiations leading to the merger of Radiology Associates of Madison with the UWMF Radiology department in January 2000. In additional to interventional radiology, he has a particular interest in vascular imaging and has developed the CT angiography program at Meriter, including coronary CTA.
Interests: Down-hill and cross-country skiing, biking, gardening, playing music (mandolin and cello) and traveling. He is currently learning to speak Italian.
