Dr. Gentry has served as the subspecialty coordinator for Head and Neck Imaging at the University of Wisconsin for the last 10 years. He has been involved in the educational efforts of the American Society of Head and Neck Imaging since 1982. Research interests center around imaging of diseases of the orbit, ears, face, and neck. The main areas of current research involve imaging of head and neck neoplasms and traumatic craniofacial injury. He has been the physician investigator for a NIH funded multidisciplinary study of speech development in children for the Vocal Tract Development Laboratory at the Waisman Center for the last 12 years. He has published 60 peer review articles, the Trauma Section of the American College of Radiology Teaching File, several book chapters, and presented over 100 scientific exhibits at national meetings.
