Dr. Sam Charles is an Assistant Professor of Radiology working in the Community Division. Dr. Charles did both residency and fellowship training at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and is fellowship trained in musculoskeletal radiology. During residency, Dr. Charles served as the Chief Resident for the Department of Radiology and UW hospital for two years. Dr. Charles is currently medical director for the UWMF 1 South Park imaging facility and its associated satellite clinics. Current practice sites include Meriter Hospital, 1 South Park Imaging Facility and GHC.

Clinical interests: Joint and spine sports medicine imaging.

Personal interests: Family, sports, travel, music, running, bicycling.
