The evening prior to your interview, our residents host a casual get-together. The location to be determined yet. These usually begin about 6:00 and last for an hour or two. If you are traveling with a significant other, please feel free to bring them as well.

On the interview day, please arrive between 7:00 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. You will be greeted by one of our residents in the Clinics Entrance lobby. On the way up to morning conference, you will stop for morning beverages and pastries. Morning conference will begin at 7:30. Afterwards, Drs. Kim and Taylor, our two program directors, will welcome you to Madison and UWHC by saying a few words about our program and community. After, a chief resident will give you a tour of the department. Between 9:00 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. candidates will interview with three faculty members and one resident. During this time, if you are not interviewing, you will be observing in designated reading rooms with our residents. After interviewing, we will arrange transportation to Blackhawk Country Club for lunch for all candidates and a couple of our current residents. This is a great time for you to get to know our program and ask residents anything.
